The Director General, and all ranks of the A & N Police deeply mourn the sudden and untimely demise of Dr. B. Srikanth, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar district, in the morning hours of 10th April, 2013 while on duty. He joined the Pondicherry Police service on 15/02/1990 and inducted in IPS in the year 2005 and presently was holding the charge of Superintendent Police (District), Nicobar from May 2012. He served more than 23 years service in Police Department at various posts including a stint in Intelligence Bureau and was appreciated for his outstanding professional competence.
We pray for his departed soul. With his death, the Police department has lost a sincere and devoted officer. We convey our heartfelt condolences to his wife and his son and the members of the bereaved family. We pray to the Almighty to give them the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
