Sri Vijaya Puram, June 29: In accordance with the Notification No. 9-170/LS/2018/PF-1/3258 dated 27.06.2025 issued by the District Magistrate, South Andaman and distressed condition of Chatham Bridge, the Directorate of Shipping Services will provide connectivity only for passengers & two wheelers between Chatham – Bambooflat & Chatham– Dundus Point as per existing schedule. It is informed that no three/four wheelers, including Govt. vehicles shall be permitted on vehicle ferries operating from Chatham.
To facilitate commuters with three/four wheelers , an additional vehicle ferry will be operated from Phoenix Bay Jetty (Stage – 1), entry from DSS Gate No. 3 as per the schedule given below:

Passengers have been requested to take note of the revised schedule and plan their travel accordingly. The revised schedule shall be implemented with immediate effect.
