MV Sindhu and Nalanda Non-Operational; Alternative Sailings to Little Andaman Announced

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 26:Passengers have been informed that the vessel Nalanda is undergoing repairs/annual surveys from 25^th June, 2025. Additionally, due to sudden technical snag, the vessel Sindhu is also non-operational since 25^th June, 2025, which has resulted in the cancellation of its sailings to Little Andaman on 27^th & 29^th June, 2025.

However, to accommodate the affected commuters, the Directorate of Shipping Services has arranged the following alternative sailing schedule to Little Andaman.

To facilitate the commuters, the Directorate has promulgated the following sailing schedule of Speed Boats & MV Campbell Bay:

Passengers holding tickets for Sindhu’s 27^th & 29^th June sailing have been advised to cancel their tickets and obtain fresh tickets from STARS Ticketing Counters against cancellation (both Offline & Online Tickets). Priority will be given to Sindhu ticket holders during the issuance of new tickets which will be available on first-come, first-serve basis.

Passenger tickets for the above sailings will be issued on 27.06.2025 from 0900 hrs onwards at STARS Ticketing Counters, Phoenix Bay for onward journey tickets and Hut Bay STARS Ticketing Counter for return journey tickets.

Additionally, until the vessel Sindhu is restored, two Speed Boat services will operate daily for Little Andaman.
