Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22:As part of the ongoing International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025, the Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) South Andaman District conducted two Awareness Programme-cum-Seminar on June 18 & 19, 2025. The programme was organized at Britech IT group of Institute & Nursery Teacher’s Training Institute (NTTI) Sri, Vijaya Puram where large number of students, teachers of the institute attended the programme.
Shri R C Das, Chairman/CEO of the Britech IT & NTTI welcomed the gathering and also urged them to refrain from addiction. Dr. M.K Mahato, Medical Officer, IRCA, SA spoke on ill effects of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. He also highlighted the methods on how to refrain from substance abuse.
All the participants took a pledge to keep themselves away from any substance abuse.
