Sri VijayaPuram, Jun 03: Mainstreaming Training on HIV, AIDS and STIs organized by A&N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) in association with the Directorate of RD, PRIs and ULBs. Around 70 officials and staff from the Directorate of RD, PRIs and ULBs participated in the program.
The camp was organized under the guidance of Dr.SubrataSaha, Project Director, A&N AIDS Control Society.
Dr.JahanaraYasmeen, DD (MS & IEC) and SantoshBaghel, AD (Documentation) from ANACS, took session on the prevention and control of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), along with other relevant information through presentation and awareness videos.
The initiative was to equip participants with accurate information about HIV and STIs, break the stigma surrounding them, encourage preventive practices, and make voluntary testing easily accessible right at their doorstep.
