Port Blair, Apr 8: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chairman, ANSCU recently inaugurated another Tailoring and Fashion Designing Center at Betapur under Shivpur Gram Panchayat as the chief guest.
In his speech Mr. Sharma urged the rural women to come forward and avail the opportunity being given to them by the Union free of cost.
Mr. Sharma told the gathering that trainees will be trained in Tailoring, fashion designing, doll making, wool work, wall hanging, glass and tile painting work etc. He added that they can earn money by these skills and become the helping hands for their head of families.
He added that learning these techniques will never go waste rather this will go a long way in future as a base of export industry of readymade garments. Mr. Sharma also added that setting up of such centers for the rural women in rural areas is his motto which he said will uplift their financial condition. He further informed that ANSCU team wants to see all rural women self dependent. Mr. Sharma has also assured of many such centers in near future. On the request of opening of computer centre at Betapur, Mr. Sharma has assured to look into the matter.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Arshad Washeem, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat has lauded the efforts of Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma who always takes extra care for uplifting the rural married and unemployed women as the chairman of ANSCU and thanked the entire team of ANSCU.
He has also urged the Chairman to open a centre of computer training as the local youths have to go to a distanced place for getting this training. Mrs. Madhuri Giri, Adhyaskha, ZP North and Middle Andaman has also spoke on the occasion and praised the efforts of the team of ANSCU, Mrs. Arati Mondal Pramukh, Sr. Journalist Mr. Rajendra Pal Sharma, PRI members, beneficiaries and local residents were also present in the function.
