Port Blair, Apr 04: The Tourism Department of A & N Administration in association with PBMC, ANIIDCO, Directorate of SAC and Tourism services providers of the Islands proposes to conduct ‘Beach Festival’ for the second time in Andaman & Nicobar Islands from 19th April, 2013 to 21st April, 2013 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Port Blair.
Musical programme/ beach sports and water sports will be added attractions to the festival.
It is decided that food stall/kiosks of PBMC existing at Corbyn’s Cove Beach will be allowed to run during the beach festival at Corbyn’s Cove Beach. ‘Kiosk’ made of wood (2m x 70cm size) will be made available to the interested Govt. organization/Private entrepreneurs, reputed hoteliers to put-up their food/snacks stalls on prescribed terms and conditions, which can be availed from Tourism department. Interested Govt. organization/Private entrepreneurs/hoteliers are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed form available with Tourism department on or before 11/4/2013 at 4.00 p.m. for allotment of kiosk for the period from 19th April to 21st April 2013 on usual terms and conditions.
