Port Blair, Mar 26: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) Bhopinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM has revised the payment of honorarium of Guest/Part-Time lecturers of Govt. Colleges of A&N Administration. Accordingly, honorarium of Guest/Part-Time lecturers has been revised as Rs 1000/- per lecture, to a maximum of Rs 25000/- per month.
Earlier, the Guest/Part-Time lecturers of all government colleges of the A&N Administration were receiving an honorarium of Rs 250/- per lecture, to a maximum of Rs 10000/- per month. Andaman Sheekha is highlighting the issue since 2009.
