
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 07: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee under the leadership of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder organized a massive protest on the 07th of February, 2025 against the unjust and abrupt deportation of Indian migrants by the U.S. Government. This Massive demonstration was a show of solidarity with Thousands of Indian families facing distress due to these inhumane deportations.
The protest began at the Congress Office, where party members and supporters gathered, holding banners and raising slogans condemning the inhumane treatment of Indian migrants. The demonstrators then marched towards the Gandhi statue, where the protest continued with great intensity.
Several Senior Party leaders addressed the gathering, expressing their deep concern over the crisis. They strongly condemned the unjust deportations, stating that this inhumane action has caused severe distress to thousands of Indian families, violating their fundamental rights and disregarding humanitarian principles.
The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee strongly stands in solidarity with the affected families and urges the Central Government to take immediate diplomatic measures to ensure justice and relief for those impacted. The party remains committed to fighting for the rights and dignity of every Indian, both within the country and abroad.
The Senior Leaders of Congress Party, ANTCC Spokesperson’s, Youth Congress Leaders, Mahila Congress Leaders, City Congress Leaders, NSUI Leaders, Fisherman Congress Leaders, OBC Department leader, UWEC Leader, PRI Members, PBMC Councilors, and Party Supporters were also present at this protest.
