
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 07: In line with the ongoing efforts to enhance local infrastructure and provide better recreational facilities to the community, the much-awaited project for the development of a Mini Stadium at Tushnabad School Playground has been initiated. This significant step forward follows the directions of the District Commissioner (DC), South Andaman, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), South Andaman.
On 1st Feb, 2024, the Director of Education visited the playground to assess the site and provide necessary directions to the authorities to commence the work without delay. Following this, the Tehsildar of South Andaman visited the site today on 7th Feb 2024 to review the progress of the ongoing work and ensure the project is moving forward as planned.
The Pradhan and PRI members have expressed their sincere gratitude to the DC and SDM for their leadership in bringing this project to life. They appreciate the administration’s commitment and believe the mini stadium will greatly enhance recreational and sports opportunities for the local community, especially the students of Tushnabad School.
The Mini Stadium project is expected to provide a state-of-the-art sports facility for the students of Tushnabad School and the surrounding community.
