Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 28: Child Rights and You (CRY), a leading NGO advocating for children’s rights, organized a vibrant cultural program at Dairy Farm, Andaman, to mark National Girl Child Day. The event aimed to promote awareness of the rights of the girl child, highlight the challenges they face, and celebrate their achievements in various fields.
The program, attended by Dr. Ajit Kumar (CMO NFSG, DEPUTY DIRECTOR MALARIA/LEPROSY) DHS,SVP as the chief guest, Mrs. Rita Devi (WOMEN WELFARE OFFICER DEPT OF SOCIAL WELFARE) as the Guest of Honor and Dr. Nitu Sindhu ( Ph. D AGRICULTURE RESEARCHER , AGRI ENTREPRENEUR) as the special guest ,children and the CRY team of Andaman the program featured wide range of activities, including sports and cultural activities, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and girls education.
All the guests motivated the audience about the importance of girls’ education in their own way by sharing different stories of girls’ achievements in history in each field.
