Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 24: Akashvani, Sri Vijaypurm will broadcast President Smt. Draupadi Murmu’s address to the Nation on the eve of Republic Day at 7.00 PM on 25th January 2025.
A special “Sarva Bhasha Kavi Sammelan” originated from AIR Delhi will also be relayed from 2200 to 2400 hrs on 25th January 2025.
On 26th January 2025 from 08.30 AM onwards Akashvani, Sri Vijaypuram will broadcast LIVE the Flag Unfurling Ceremony and Address to the Islanders by Lieutenant Governor Admiral D.K. Joshi from Marina Park Road. The Commentators will be Mr. Zakir Hussain, Sr. Gr. Announer, Pooja Singh and Seema Kerketta.
Akashvani Sri Vijapuram will also relay the Republic Day Parade and the Cultural Pageant from Kartvya Path and National War Memorial, New Delhi from 9.40 am onwards.
