Port Blair, Mar 14: The Zilla Parishad member Mr. Kurma Rao alongwith a delegation of various tour operators of Baratang and Port Blair met the PCC Chief Kuldeep Rai Sharma today at Gandhi Bhavan and recorded their gratitude for taking care of their problems when ATR was declared as closed.
Mr. Kurma Rao told the operators in details as how Sharma has guided him to file the affidavit and what are the points to be included in it to convince the honourable Court about the miseries of Tour operators and others being faced by such closure.
Rao recorded his surprise that apart from the AN Administration and this affidavit, no other affidavit was filed by any other party and or no other political leaders even thought of submitting such affidavit for the welfare of the ill-fated tour operators.
In the above meeting this was also Kuldeep told the gathering that some rumour creators are spreading a false news that ATR has been made open only upto 2015 which is totally baseless. “People may download the verdict of the Honourable Court and themselves find as to how innocent people are being misguided,” he said.
