Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 15: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Campbellbay in collaboration with Local Administration, Campbellbay organized one day full Mega Programme- Yuva Utsav at Community Hall, Campbellbay on 14/12/2024 with the aims to rekindle the spirit of patriotism and values of India’s freedom struggle by engaging youth in various events progressing from District Level to State and National Level. More than 200 youths from various villages of Campbellbay participated in the Yuva utsav. On the occasion Mr. Keshav Narendra Singh (DANICS), Assistant Commissioner was the chief guest while Mr. E S Rajesh, Prmukh, Campbellbay was guest of honour. Other dignitaries Mrs. Bindu Verma, Principal, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Campbellbay, Mr. Sekhar Roy, Block Development Officer, Campbellbay, Mrs. Rupa Tirkey, Block Samiti Member, Campbellbay, Mrs. Rameshwari , Pradhan, Campbellbay and Mr. Barnabus, Chairman, Tribal Council, Campbellbay were also present . The chief guest inaugurated the Yuva Utsav by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries present on the occasion. Earlier Mr. Alphonce Toppo, Deputy Director (OSD), NYK, Campbellbay welcomed the chief guest and other guests and briefed about the Yuva Utsav. After inauguration the Panch Pran pledge was administered among all. The chief guest in his speech highlighted the importance of Panch Pran and lauded the effort in organizing the Yuva Utsav at Campbellbay. The chief guest also inaugurated Science Mela Exhibition and interacted with the participants about their projects. On the occasion the following competitive events were organized with the theme of Panch Pran.

4. Poetry Contest
5. Mobile photography Contest
6. Declamation Contest
7. Cultural Programme – traditional dances.
Certificates for First, Second and third of each event were also distributed by Mr. Barnabus, CTC, Campbellbay, Mrs. Rupa Tirkey, BSM, Campbellbay, Mrs. Raj Laxmi, teacher, Mrs. Amla Mazumder, teacher, Mr. Puneet Sukla, teacher and Mr. Sasanko Biswas Teacher. Money prize for each event will also be directly credited into the bank account of winners. At last Mr. Alphonce Toppo, Deputy Director (OSD), NYK, Campbellbay proposed vote of thanks to all.
