Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 12: A Sterilization Camp was organized at PHC Shaheed Dweep by the Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration on the request of Pramukh, Sri Vijaya Puram Panchayat Samiti, Prothrapur. Dr M.K Saha, Gynaecologist, GB Pant Hospital and Dr. Narayan, Anesthetist with the help of staff of PHC Shaheed Dweep performed the procedure.
Smt. Champa Das, Pramukh, Sri Vijaya Puram Panchayat Samiti, Prothrapur and Smti. Pinki Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Neil Kendra expressed their gratitude to the Doctors and all staff for the successful conclusion of the camp towards welfare of the local community of Shaheed Dweep. The Pramukh, Smt. Champa Das urged DHS for more camps in the future in other specialty too. About 33 females benefited from the camp.
