Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 11: Tagore Government College of Education celebrated National Education Day-2024 on 11.11.2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister. The event began with a soulful welcome song, followed by an inspiring address from Principal Dr. Manjulata Rao, who emphasized Azad’s vision for inclusive education.
The program proceeded with an engaging PowerPoint presentation by the faculty of TGCE on Azad’s educational contributions and his Vision for Education.
Trainees showcased their skills through an elocution competition and poster making competitions. A dance performance on women empowerment (Girl Power) added vibrancy to the event.
The celebration concluded with the announcement of the winners of the competition. Through National Education Day, we honour his contributions to India’s education system, reaffirming our commitment to inclusive and equitable learning.
