On the occasion of the Foundation Day of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on 31st October, 2024, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the people of these territories residing in A&N Islands.
The UT of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh came into existence on 31st October, 2019. As we celebrate this important milestone, we not only honor the rich heritage of these regions but also reflect on the profound connections that link them with our Islands. These connections, rooted in the diversity and unity of our great nation, are a testament to the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’
Both the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Jammu & Kashmir, along with Ladakh have faced their own unique challenges and celebrated their respective triumphs. Our shared journey towards progress, unity, and diversity continues to inspire us all. The resilience and strength demonstrated by our people in times of adversity have brought us closer and made us stronger.
I extend my heartfelt wishes to all the residents of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh living in A&N Islands for a joyous and harmonious Foundation Day celebration. Let us come together to cherish our shared history and look forward to a brighter and more connected future.
