Port Blair, Oct 15: A Mega Musical Evening “Aaye Tum Yaad Mujhe” was organised under the banner of ‘3 Aces’ on 13th October, 2024 at Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium, Sri Vijaya Puram to commemorate the 37th Death Anniversary of Legendary & Versatile Singer, Kishore Kumar. The show has been presented jointly by Shri Uday Narayan, Shri Shailender Singh and Shri Aktar Hussain.
Shri Sudeep Rai Sharma, Chairperson, PBMC graced the evening as Chief Guest alongwith his wife. Shri M. Vinod, President-AATO (as Guest of Honour), Shri Azizur Rehman, State President-Atal Foundation & Shri Nitish Naidu (as Special Guests) were also present on the occasion.
The Grand Musical Event organized to pay rich tribute to the Legend was a very successful one, which commenced befittingly with a song ‘Amar Shilpi Tumi Kishore Kumar, Tomake Janai Pranam’ soulfully rendered by Shri Ashees Poddar dedicating the Guru Thakur (Kishore Da) drew appreciation from one and all. The Chief Guest alongwith other Eminent Guests as well as the performing Artistes offered Floral tribute to the portrait of Kishore Kumar.
The other renowned Lead Singers of the evening included Shri/s, Mohd. Nisar, Anant Ram, Uday Narayan, Shailender Singh, Aktar Hussain, Rajesh Ghosh, Raaj and Ujjwal Dhali. The prominent Co-Singers of the programme were Smt./s Ananya Karak, Parvati Anil, Arunima Ghosh, Salma, Preeti Lata, Anjali, Zeenat, Ms. Liza, and Shri/s Abdul Rasheed, Ashok Kumar and Hassan Shah. Each and every presentation has been highly applauded. The show was nicely hosted by one of the finest anchors of the Islands, Shri Raaj.
