Campbell Bay/Diglipur, Aug 06: The launch of “Kuposhan Mukt Panchayat Abhiyaan” was organised at Campbell Bay Community Hall by the local administration today. “Kuposhan Mukt Panchayat Abhiyaan” a mission coming under the aegis of Govt. of India’s Flagship Program was inaugurated by Mr. Keshav Narendra Singh, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay in the presence of BDO, Up-Pramukh, Pradhan Campbell Bay, Pradhan Govind Nagar, Mukhya Sevika, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers and parents. The nutritional kits sponsored by Pradhan Campbell Bay, Pradhan Govind Nagar, Pradhan Gandhi nagar were given to 11 beneficiaries and an innovative millet-based recipe promoting nutritious eating habits among children through the “Supplementary Nutrition program.” was placed. The program aims to reduce stunting, undernutrition, anemia among young children, women and adolescent girls and low birth weight, and it addresses the problem of malnutrition in a mission-mode.
