Port Blair, Aug 04: After completion of the camp court the Secretary (Rural Development), Mr. Arjun Sharma, IAS inspected the waste management clusters of Chouldhari village
It was observed that the waste management system is not properly functioning. Compost and wastes of cloth products have not been cleared by the Contractor. The Secretary (RD) directed the contractor to immediately clear the wastes for disposal that are lying idle at the Waste compound.
The Secretary (RD) directed the Panchayat Secretary to apprise the progress of the waste management cluster within a week time.
