Port Blair, May 27: The Health Tech- Technology powered by Tata Communications, a Healthcare Solutions has organized a free medical health camp on 25.5.2024 at an Old Age Home in Ferrargunj in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department. The camp was held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with the aim of providing medical services to the residents.
The camp offered a range of services, including medical screening for various health conditions, consultations, treatment, and basic medications to all residents of the Old Age Home. The beneficiaries included 4 children, 25 elderly individuals, 14 mentally challenged children, 4 disabled children, and 4 disabled elderly people.
In addition to medical services, educational sessions on healthy living, disease prevention, nutrition, and hygiene were provided to all attendees. The camp was conducted by Dr. Sharda (BHMS, DHM, CNCC, HIMT, TSI, CAFÉ) and Mrs. Sheela- Mukiya Sevika.
As a special gesture, an E-TROLLEY with basic lab facilities was given to all beneficiaries present at the camp.
