On the foundation day of Sikkim on 16th May 2024, I extend my warm greetings to the people of Sikkim.
This day commemorates the historic moment in 1975 when Sikkim became a State within India, marking a new chapter in its longstanding narrative of cultural richness and community spirit. Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes and the diverse tapestry of its communities stand as a testament to the enduring values of peace and harmony that have been the cornerstone of its identity, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas.
On this occasion, I wish happiness and continued strides towards prosperity to the people of Sikkim residing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
