Port Blair, May 08: The State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, has suspended two Zilla Parishad members of the party indefinitely, namely Mr. Abdul Basheer, Ferrargunj and Mr. Dashrath Verma from Shaheed Dweep with immediate effect. The above members were suspended after their alleged anti-party activity was noted in the Zilla Parishad, Adhyaksha and Up Adhyaksh election that was held on 8th May 2024. The suspension order was immediately issued after the elections.
