Port Blair, Jan 17: A man committed suicide inside the Rajiv Gandhi Velodrome complex on 16th night.
In the early morning of 17th, a man was passing from the gate of Velodrome and saw that a man is hanging on a pole inside the Velodrome complex. Immediately, he intimated the Police Control Room (PCR) and body was removed by Police Jawans. The person was later identified as Krishna.
According to the police, Krishna’s age was about 28yrs and was staying in Shadipur (Subhash Nagar). He was a private electrician.
However, the police declared that it is a suicide case and but the main reason behind this suicide is still unknown. Further investigation is under process.
