Port Blair, Apr 07: Special Excise raids were conducted by Police Station Central Crime Station from 30th March to 5th April 2024 to curb the sale of alcohol. As a outcome, Police team consisting of SI Vinit Kumar Maurya, Head Constables Sanjit Madhu, S. Baroi, K. Venkateshwar Rao, Sanjay Kujur, Constables K. Rajendran, S. K. Mazumdar, Amos George & N. Thangaraj have seized 165 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from the possession of 08 bootleggers. The bootleggers were arrested and Case under section 32 Reg. III of 1876 has been registered at PS CCS against them.
