Rangat, Mar 07: The Rangat unit of Andaman and Nicobar Police is gearing up to host the SP Cup cricket tournament for men on March 8, 2024. Twelve teams from various departments and areas will participate in the day-night matches. The inaugural ceremony, scheduled at around 4:30 pm, will be graced by the Chief Guest, Superintendent of Police for North and Middle Andaman, Smt. Geetanjali Khandelwal (IPS). Among the dignitaries attending are Assistant Commissioner Rangat, Mrs. Sapna Priya along with other esteemed guests. To celebrate International Women’s Day, the inaugural match will feature two women’s teams, Gram Panchayat Rangat vs. Administration, playing a 5-over game. Following this, the men’s matches will commence, starting with Police vs. Administration. All matches will be knockout rounds.
