Port Blair, Mar 06: Fun & Fitness run has been organised from Veer Savarkar International Airport to Flag points on 06.03.2024 under the leadership of Airport Director Mr. Devender Yadav and Chief Airport Security Officer Mr. Rajinder Singh as a part of CISF raising day celebrations.
About 45 officers from Airports Authority of India, CISF and Airlines participated in the run.
The Fun & Fitness run started at 6:45 from Veer Savarkar International Airport and covered around 6 KM following the route Dairy Farm, Secretariat, High Court Circuit Bench, HLG House, Gandhi Park, Netaji Stadium, JNRM and Flag Point.
The Airport Director said that running and physical workout is quite essential for the sustainable lifestyle. Long run not only boosts the fitness of the body, it also provides confidence and inspiration to do beyond mental barriers and excellence in every aspect of daily routine.
The Airport Director thanked all the participants for taking part in the Fun & Fitness run.
