Port Blair, Feb 11: Andaman and Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Photo Electoral Roll 2013 has been released by the Election Department. The electoral roll has been fully revised and published on 15th January last, as scheduled by the Election Commission of India. During the revision, altogether 17364 new eligible voters enrolled their names in the electoral list 2013.
The Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Som Naidu informed that all the newly enrolled voters are being issued Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) to achieve 100 % issuance of the photo cards. The department already started issuing the photo cards to the new voters from 7th of this month at the Panchayats and Municipal wards.
The newly enrolled voters can collect their Electoral Photo Identity Cards till 15th of this month from their respective Panchayats and Municipal wards or through their Block Level Officers. (PIB)
