Port Blair, Feb 11: In a noble gesture, the Yuva Sangh, a youth Association of Wimberlygunj has donated a sum of Rs. 21,000 for the treatment of four years old, Master Bibek Talukdar, who is suffering from Cyanotic Heart Disease.
The money was collected by Yuva Sangh from people of Wimberlygunj and Bambooflat area.
The amount of handed over to Mr. Bipul Talukdar, father of Bibek Talukdar by the General Secretary of Yuva Sangh, Mr. T Ali, in presence of Mr. M K Abdul Gafoor, President of Humane Touch, a well known NGO, which is working for social cause.
Due to the heart ailment Master Bibek is unable to utter even a single word from his mouth. His legs are so week that he can’t even stand straight on his legs.
According to doctors the child needs two urgent operations, which will bless the child with a normal life but poor parents of the child is finding it difficult to arrange money for the treatment of the child.
Other than Yuva Sangh, some more people have also donated some amount for the treatment of Master Bibek.
