Port Blair, Feb 22: Arpan Music Academy (AMA), Dollygunj, Port Blair, celebrated the “26th International Mother Language Day” on 21st February 2024, Wednesday, at Chouldari Durga Puja Mandap Hall, Chouldari. Mrs. Tapasi Saha, Panchayat Pradhan of Chouldari, was the Chief Guest and Mrs. Pramila Kumari, Ex. Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha at Chouldary Constituency was the Guest of Honor on this occasion. The Function was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor with the President, General Secretary of Arpan Music Academy (AMA) and other dignitaries. Mr. Sitaram Sharma Vice-President of AMA welcomed the gathering.
The members of Arpan Music Academy (AMA) and other Artists presented an inaugural group song ‘Amar Bhaire Rokte Rangao’ sung by Smt. Soma Roy, Mr. Amit Roy with Mr. Kangkan Modal & Mohan Basi Das. After that Mrs. Soma Roy, Mr. Amit Roy, Mr. Kangkan Modal, Mohan Basi Das, Miss Sreoshi Modal, Mr. J. N. Raja presented songs and Miss Shushmita Das presented a dance in front of the gathering. Mrs. Deepa Dey Mondal sang a song, speechifying the importance of the day, anchoring the entire program very nicely. Entire the program Keyboard accompanied by Chinmoy Das, Octopad by Master Anurag Roy, Tabla by S. H. Chowdhury, Dholok by Mr. Aman and Hand sonic by Mr. Dipesh Bhattacharyay. The thought of the day delivered the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor by their speeches. Entire the programme was mesmerized by the presented Audience.
The programme was concluded at 7.30pm with the vote of thanks by Mr. Chinmoy Das, the General Secretary of Arpan Music Academy (AMA).
