Port Blair, Feb 18: ‘Start-up Mahakumbh’ a 3-day exhibition of startups across domains will be organized from March 18 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), M/o Commerce & Industry. The event is expected to have participation from more than 1000 high potential startups from India and the globe and would also include participation from key global and Indian stakeholders, such as unicorns, global and domestic venture capitalists, corporates, and high-potential startups from across the world. The event will bring together over 300 accelerators and incubators, a multitude of venture capitalists, angel investors, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), alongside Government officials, policymakers, and global innovation agencies.
Each participating State could be allocated a cluster booth to showcase its 5-10 unique startups, innovative programs, and supportive initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. The exposure through the event will help attract investment opportunities for startups, leading to capital infusion, business expansion, and accelerated growth.
The DPIIT recognized startups of Andaman and Nicobar Islands that are willing to participate in the event may contact the Directorate of Industries Office on any working day between 9 am & 5 pm for further details.
