Port Blair, Feb 05: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India [TRAI] is a regulatory body of the Department of Telecommunications established by an Act of Parliament, called the TRAI Act, 1997, to regulate telecom services, including fixation/revision of tariffs for telecom services.
With a view to bring awareness to the consumers of telecom services about their rights and service related issues, TRAI Regional Office Kolkata in association with field office of Department Of Telecom (DoT), Port Blair is going to conduct a Consumer Outreach Programme (CoP) for the telecom and broadcasting service consumers of the Ferrargunj and adjoining area in South Andaman district of A&N Islands at Ferrargunj Panchayat (Community Hall) on 8th Feb 2024. We invite all the residents of Ferrargunj and nearby areas, NGOs, Press and Electronic Media etc., to attend this program and get benefits of the Consumer Outreach Programme.
