Port Blair, Feb 02: Botanical Survey of India Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre celebrated World Wetland Day-2024 under the leadership of Addl. Director & Regional Head Dr. Lal Singh at PM SHRI Govt. Middle School, Sippighat, South Andaman. In his inaugural speech Dr. Singh emphasized upon the importance of Wetlands in the life and environmental significance. Soon after all participants were taken to the nearby Post Tsunami Wetland and Dr. Singh administered the Wetland Mitra pledge.
