Port Blair, Feb 02: With a view to promote good nutrition amongst the Islanders, the ICDS Urban Project under the Directorate of Social Welfare will be organizing a ‘Food Mela’ at Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School from 3:00pm to 8:00pm on Feb.10.2024.
In this regard, the Directorate of Social Welfare has invited applications from Self Help Groups (SHGs), NGOs, and Anganwadi workers/ Anganwadi Helpers to set up stalls to present varieties of healthy nutritious dishes. This event aims to create awareness about the importance of day-to-day life nutrition. SHGS, NGOs, and Anganwadi workers will have the opportunity to sell their culinary creations, contributing to a vibrant culinary marketplace. Also health baby show and rangoli competition will be organized.
