A&N Administration Launches Job Camps to Empower Youth and Address Unemployment

Diglipur, Jan. 17:NDRF team is currently undertaking a familiarization exercise in North and Middle Andaman District as part of Disaster preparedness. The NDRF team carried out visit to vulnerable areas in and around Diglipur. As community outreach effort and to create awareness amongst the population, Community Awareness Programmes were conducted at Diglipur and School Safety Program at Govt. Secondary School Durgapur.

During the programmes, various disaster related topics were covered and demonstrated. The Team also interacted with various stakeholders like Pradhan, Zilla Parishad Member and general public. During the School Safety Program, DEO Diglipur was present and Disaster Management Kit was handed over to School to use during the time of exigencies.
