Port Blair, Feb 4: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC has expressed his gratitude towards Mr. Bhupender Singh, Lt. Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands for laying the foundations of Andaman Bhavan at Vizag today. In a press release today Mr. Sharma said that the new Andaman Bhavan coming up at Vizag will reduce the problems of the Telegu community residing in these Islands to a great extent.
President PCC along with delegates from the Telegu Community of these Islands had met the Lt. Governor on 6th November, 2012 and highlighted their problems. Mr. Sharma added that with this a long pending demand of the Telegu community will be fulfilled.
Mr. Sharma also expressed his gratitude towards the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for revival of the free transportation of the medically referred people and their attendants from the Nicobar group of Islands to Port Blair for which he had requested the Lt. Governor on 29th November, 2012. Mr. Sharma further added that he hopes to get full cooperation of the Administration on various issues that he has placed in front of them through his letters and personal communications, a communication from Secretary to PCC, President said.
