Port Blair, Nov 27: Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was inaugurated the 28th Open State Karate Championship held on 26th Nov. 2023 at Community Hall Ward No.13, Junglighat by lightning of Traditional lamp under the aegis of Sports Karate Do Association Andaman & Nicobar Islands in presence of Mr. S. Boominathan, up- Adhyaksh ZPSA and Mr. Madan kumar Gupta, advocate member, state commission as guest of honors.
A demonstration of martial art was presented before the chief guest and other dignitaries who were lauded by all. The chief guest impressed upon the athletes to work hard with dedication and maintain punctuality in their training so that they could represent the island in national and international events.
