India and Singapore share a unique relation in South East Asian Region. Adding a new leaf to the journey of International Co-operation, the Royal Singapore Navy leased ship MV Avatar visited Port Blair with 76 RSN officers including 67 trainee officers as a part of young officers training curriculum from 25 to 27 Jan 13.
The visit has strengthened the relations between the two countries in general and the navies in particular.
Lt Col Neo Meng Keon, Commanding Officer Navigation and Direction School, Singapore Navy called on Commodore Jatinder Singh, the Naval Component Commander. During the stay, the under trainee officers visited IN Ships berthed on Naval Wharf , the Naval Marine Museum Samudrika and Havelock Island.
