Port Blair, Oct 31: The Pradesh Youth Congress, Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Tuesday organized a highly successful Blood Donation Camp at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair in honor of Former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi on the occasion of her death anniversary.
The blood donation camp was organised under the leadership of Ms. Diksha Dular, State President, PYC, A&N Islands and Mr. Abhibhushan Ghosh, State Vice-President, PYC, A&N Islands. The event saw a significant turnout of donors and volunteers eager to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
The Camp aimed to address the constant demand for blood in medical emergencies, surgeries, and other critical situations. The primary objective of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.
Many people joined the camp with a sense of purpose and the desire to contribute to the well-being of their fellow citizens. The camp featured a well-organized system, where trained medical professionals collected the blood donations while ensuring the safety and comfort of the donors. Stringent health and safety measures were adhered to, making the event a safe and secure environment for all participants.
The Pradesh Youth Congress leaders expressed their gratitude towards all the volunteers and donors for their noble work and assured to carry out such initiatives to save the lives and to instill a sense of unity and solidarity among the people of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
