Port Blair, Oct 27: Mr. P Kannan, President , office bearers and members of GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES FEDERATION, A&N Islands deeply mourned the sad demise of Bagat Singh, ex. Executive Engineer, Head of Electricity department , Chairman A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd and father of Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma Member of Parliament, . On 27/10/2023 at Hyderabad. He was God father of many Islanders provided livelihood and done many developments in power sector of the Islands. He was a prominent social activist too and developed many temples. Late Bagat Singh was closely associated with the Federation and fulfilled all the demands put forth before him and maintained a harmonious relationship. The Federation and the Islanders have lost such a dynamic personality forever. Mr. P Kannan, prays Almighty to rest his soul in peace and give berth in Heaven and enough courage to family members to bear the irrecoverable loss.
