Port Blair, Oct 25: A Police team of the Marine Force recovered a body near Chatham Jetty at 10:30 AM yesterday, following information received from the public. The deceased was identified as Mr. Jairus, aged 41, a resident of Haddo. Early reports suggest Mr. Jairus was fishing close to the Chatham Jetty when an accident occurred, leading to his drowning. The body was transported to the G B Pant hospital by 1 PM.
