Port Blair, Oct 18: Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency on visit to Mumbai for 3rd Global Maritime India Summit 2023 met Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, GoI Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal in the presence of Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Nityanand Rai & Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Mr. Shantanu Thakur today. Discussed fast tracking strategic mega projects of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways including International Container Transshipment Terminal at Great Nicobar Islands and developing A&N Islands as Regional Ship Constructions/Repair Hub in Indo Pacific.
