Port Blair, Oct 15: In continuation to the Ayushman Bhavah campaign, the District Health Society, South Andaman under National Health Mission has conducted the Ayushmaan Bhavah Health Camp at CHC Bambooflat today on 15/10/2023 in coordination with Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Science (ANIIMS) & Directorate of Health Services, A & N Administration. The health consultation / screening was provided to around 112 patients by specialists of Medicine, Gynaecologist, Paediatrics, Surgery, ENT & EYE.
Further, more than 140 residents are also benefited with health talk, PMJAY registration & Ayushman Bharat Heath Account (ABHA) Health ID cards generation, free medicines services, laboratory services & awareness on yoga were also provided in the camp.
The general public has been asked to avail the benefit of special health mela / camp at CHC, PHCs & Sub Centres on every Saturday till December 2023. It is also requested to enroll under ABHA and eligible beneficiaries to register under Pradhan Manthri Jan Arogya Yojana at nearest health centres.
