Port Blair, Jan 21: The plays & Coach of Island Wushu Martial Art Team have been praised by the Director Sport Mr. Lucas Robert for their glorious performance in the 12th Sub- Junior (Boys & Girls) National Wushu Championship held at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh from 24th to 29th December 2012.
The Director congratulates those medal winners who have bagged 1 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medal to the said championship. Special thanks have been given to Mr. M.S. Murugan (ASI) IRBn, National Judge Wushu, who has extraordinarily devoted himself to prepare those kids from this remote Island to participate and win medals in such a national championship. “His selfless hard work and dedication toward the promotion of Wushu Martial Art in these Islands is commendable,” said the Director, Sports.
