Port Blair, 21st Sep: Hindi fortnight competitions is under way at DDK, Port Blair in order to propagate progressive usage of Official Language in true spirit. During the Fortnight various competitions like Essay writing, Noting & Drafting, Dictation, Quiz etc. will be held in different categories. As a part of celebrations “Essay” competition was held today i.e., on 21st September in which Smt T.A.Tamil Selvi, Smt Sumitra Barik, Shri K.Adinarayan and Shri S.Mathivanan bagged first, Shri S.Srinivasan. Shri Shree Raj Singh, Shri V.Subramanian got Second and Shri A.M.Raghu got Third prize in their respective categories. Shri B.Venu, Deputy Director (E) and Head of Office, Akashvani & Doordarshan hailed all the participants and greeted all the winners for their active participation in on going competiions.
