Port Blair, Sep 17: WITH YOU (NGO), in its continued commitment to community well-being, organized a significant awareness program on health and hygiene at the Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) in Bambooflat on September 15, 2023.
The event was graced by Ms. V.K. Mariyam Bibi, President NGO who extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, including the school’s Principal, medical professionals, and other distinguished attendees. Ms. Bibi emphasized the paramount importance of maintaining good health as a fundamental prerequisite for a fulfilling life.
Dr. Rani, from the Community Health Center (CHC) in Bambooflat, took the stage to enlighten the audience, particularly focusing on menstrual hygiene and various aspects related to women’s health. Her informative session aimed to empower young girls with knowledge and practices essential for their well-being.
As part of its community outreach, WITH YOU NGO distributed approximately 350 sanitary pads to the girl students, demonstrating its dedication to addressing critical needs and supporting young women in their journey towards better health and hygiene.
