Port Blair, Sep 14: This is to inform the passengers/general public that due to inclement Weather conditions the scheduled sailing programme of SINDHU to Car Nicobar on 15.09.2023 at 1800 Hrs from Port Blair has been postponed till further notice. However, fresh date of sailing of the vessel SINDHU will be announced in due course.
Further, to inform that due to unfavorable weather conditions operation of Passenger/Vehicle ferry services between Chatham, Bambooflat, Phoenix Bay, Dundas Point, Hopetown are becoming difficult and considered unsafe. This Directorate keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel may be forced to suspend Harbour/Vehicle Ferry Services in the above routes at short notice depending upon the weather condition. Therefore, the passengers and tourists are hereby advised to plan their journey suitably to avoid any inconvenience.
