Diglipur, Jan 16: Indian Idol fame singer, Parasar Joshi and Kolkata based rock band ‘Out of Control Bengalis’ set the stage on fire at Diglipur yesterday. Mesmerized crowd went out of control and audiences could be seen dancing and singing with these artists.
The Band played tunes of favourite Bollywood Numbers and also Bengali Numbers, which enthralled the audience in the Diglipur Vikas mela venue.
Andaman Sheekha, English Daily had made especial arrangements for audience by placing large projector screen.
Speaking to exclusively to Andaman Sheekha, Parashar Joshi said that the response from the public was very good.
“We performed as public demanded and they enjoyed new as well as old songs. They are very cooperative which we don’t see everywhere. My wife who is accompanying me saw the stalls of Vikas Mela and enjoyed alot,” he said.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Mr. Tanmoy Saadhak Chokraborty said that their rock band Out of Control Bangalis have performed in nine Islands till Monday and till now they have got tremendous response from Public.
“We out of control Bengalis, Rock band has performed in Andamans for the first time. We are really speechless about the public appreciation and we look forward to perform every year with your blessings,” Mr. Chokraborty added.
On 6th Jan the team performed at Campbell Bay, on 7th Jan at Kamorta, on 8th Jan at Car Nicobar, on 9th Jan at Hut Bay, on 10th Jan at Wandoor, on 11th at Wymberlygunj, on 12th Jan at ITF ground, on 13th Jan at Rangat, on 14th Jan at Mayabunder and on 15th Jan the team performed at Diglipur. According to reports all shows were superb hit.
There shows were organized by IP&T and the event manager for all the shows was Samhita Veda Acharya, of Ave Marvelous Creations. Samhita, who is popularly known as Koyal was also the female singer in the shows.
