Port Blair, Sep 05: On the occasion of Teachers Day 05 Sep 2023 the NCC cadets of Senior division and Senior wing of JNRM College went to various Schools viz GSSS Lapathy, Haddo, School line, Sargaritara, KV-01, Nirmala High School and others. The NCC Cadets took small lectures on the national campaign of Each One Reach One Teach One and harped on the need for each individual to be literate and Bharat to reach 100% Literacy. The Cadets also motivated the students to take up NCC for a disciplined and diligent life. The cadets appraised the students of the ongoing NCC activities in the Islands & the incentives given by the Govt to the NCC certificate holders. The students interacted with the visiting cadets and asked many questions about NCC and also expressed a keen interest in joining the NCC and the Police/Armed forces of the nation.
