Port Blair, Jan 11: As part of the 37th Coast Guard raising day celebrations, youth interaction programme was conducted by Indian Coast Guard at JNRM College, Port Blair on 10 Jan 13. Approximately 300 final year graduation students attended the programme.
Comdt MS Gill Commanding Officer, Indian Coast Guard Ship Aruna Asaf Ali, gave informative presentation to the students on roles/functions and employment opportunities in the Coast Guard. The students enthusiastically interacted with the officials and clarified their queries on selection procedures and eligibility criteria for joining Indian Coast Guard.
The event was also attended by Dr. Iqbal Ahmed, Principal JNRM and other senior professors of the college. Dr. Iqbal Ahmed thanked Coast Guard for organizing such event for the benefit of the students.
